Sukhbir Singh Badal appeals state employees union to cancel

The deputation of Mulazam Front Punjab under the Chairmanship of Mr. Surinder Singh Pehalwan, Chairman, Punjab Mulazam Bhalai Board today called on Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal, seeking early solution to the long pending demands of employees. The delegation explained to the Deputy Chief Minister that Punjab employees were waiting since long for fulfillment of their long pending demands and were organizing a state level dharna on December 7th at Chandigarh. Appealing to Employees to cancel their dharna, the Deputy Chief Minister said that he had already asked Chief Secretary to convene a meeting of concerned Employees Unions on December 13, 2010 so that a decision could be taken on the demands. He said that SAD-BJP government was committed to the welfare of employees and they should not adopt any agitational approach.
